Bench raps IG for `police inaction'

I love this. Madurai Bench of the Madras High court raps IG for 'inaction'. I am a big fan of the bench 'observations' especially in the Supreme court. Now the madurai bench observations are also entertaining. The famous one from Supreme court : When the counsel for the BCCI commented something like politics should be kept away from cricket, the bench's reminded him of the previous day's election of BCCI chairman ! The proceedings of the cauvery water dispute case is also interesting. I will search and provide links if they are publicly available. We can expect a lot more from Madurai bench as that part of our state is pretty (in)famous for law and order.
